The most common use platform is MT4. I think, most brokers use this type of platform, making it the typical Forex trading platform.
The only way to find a good regulated broker is by hitting different forex forum and conform which broker offers a suitable platform.
You maybe right, but not always can we trust all we see here, it’s best we do more research while we use what we see here on the forums. Though my friend showed me a couple of good post about Profiforex, that didn’t really convince me until I made more search on them, and I can say today the effort was worth it. Particularly their speed, impresses me a lot! But it not bad at all if we come to forums for help, especially superb forums like babypips here!
According to me Trader’s Way, fxcm both are excellent and reliable.
