I am looking for a VPS (Virtual Private Server) solution to run my EA. Operating system should be Windows and monthly rent should be as low as $10 (or not more than $15). If any of you use such type of VPS, please share your experience - how reliable they are for running MT4 terminal with Expert Adviser.

For $30-$35, cns (commercialnetworkservices.com) & forexvps.com are good options.

Thanks for your reply. I am looking for a cheap VPS to test one of my EA on demo/micro account. So I can’t spend a lot for this. If I can invest large capital or found an investor to earn enough then those expensive VPS can be used. Otherwise I have to depend on my laptop, but it is difficult to run it 24/5 and ensure uninterrupted network connectivity.

I used a discount vps when I first started but had 3 times in the first 2 weeks that I logged on to find it had been reset server-side and mt4 wasn’t running. Support gave bull answers of “error has been fixed it won’t happen again” each time it happened…so I switched to cns and havnt had a single problem in 6 months.
While your returns may not pay for a vps to start, dealing with vps issues will cause you to feel badly towards forex investing. Also, if you can’t afford 40 bucks a month for a vps you probably can’t afford to lose the money your trading with. I strongly recommend waiting until you can afford this much needed cost:)

$18 a month is the cheapest I have found. OK for testing or small accounts but I have been reset. I used a $21 a month service nextpointhost never was disconnected. No customer admin privileges on that one so customer service has to install you trading platforms. Even with that minor inconvenience(how often do you install software on your VPS) I would recommend looking NPH.
I have never had any disconnection or reset probs with CNS. I think the cheapest package is $30 p/m. I have installed all my ea’s on the vps and continually install and uninstal programs with no issues and the price is paid for usually by my broker rebates. I will check out NPH, thanks for the tip.
FXCM have a free VPS when you trade 5K with them… anyone tried this?

When I started looking at VPS services, I chose a local one but got limited support from the service provider and ended up cancelling everything.
I then found this free one through Amazon (FREE VPS for MT4 from Amazon - get this free for 12 months) which is reliable, free for 12 months.
Best is I can access it through my iphone so can also view my MT4 full package from my phone.
Quite awesome.
