My current broker is about to become my ex-broker due to large spreads, so Im shopping around. I want tight spreads and an online method of account withdrawl, such as to paypal or ACH to my checking account. Several of the brokers ive looked at the last few days require you to print/fax a withdraw form to them. Id rather have something a bit easier.
Anyone recommend some brokers to look at or a big chart with brokers compared in a chart of some sort?
Bitshift, Have a look at One Financial, they a UK FSA regulated company with pretty tight spreads and withdrawals are easily and efficiently done online. You just fill out a form and funds are sent the same day
I was talking to a guy at FXCM yeaterday he told me if I open an account with them and use a visa debit/credit card to fund my account withdrawls would be credited to the same visa account free of charge and would take 1-3 business days I thought that sounded like a good deal
Yes, some other brokers have the same option. It’s certainly faster than a wire transfer and a cheque! Y personally prefer the wire transfer. Check your options.
I believe the credit card withdrawals at any broker have a limitation. Usually, they have a time frame from the day you fund your account that you are allowed to withdraw back to the credit card you funded with. After that time frame, then you have to go back to wire transfers.
Also, they may only allow you to withdraw back to your credit card only up to the amount of your total credit card deposits. So any profits over that amount have to be withdrawn by wire transfer.
I would double check with FXCM and get the exact details behind the credit card withdrawal process. I believe this is the case, but please let me know if I have my information wrong.
