I’m looking for the best charting software that will allow me to detach charts so I can have charts on multiple monitors.

hi,

I can certainly say, after working with more than a few charting packges, that the best one around for Forex is MetaTrader. its user-friendly, comprehensive in its features and is lightning-fast (even with a slow computer).
To view charts on multiple screen with Metatrader just drag the window edge to the other screen and arrange the charts on both screens as you wish.

I am unable to drag the charts to other screens. I could drag the charts around in the screen they are currently in, but whenever i drag the charts to other screen, a portion of the charts just disspear in the edge, with my mouse cursor blocked by the edge of the current screen.

suggestions?

hey did youwork this out ? you have to configureyour computer to use multiple screens in the hardware graphics section.

use Fxaccucharts by fx solutions, the best charting software out there, better than MT4 :cool:

I would say hands down that NinjaTrader is the best. Especially if you want to make order entry from charts.

i will tel you a appropriate software i.e. meta trader with the use of excels… it is the best way for making strategies and graphs in the form of chart. even Nothing can match the calculation ability of Excel - not even MT4 and Excel offers unrivaled reporting as opposed your standard trading platform
Less programming knowledge needed and more flexibility offered…you can use it and make your trade easy than ever.

:mad: if you are looking for the charting software than nothing could be better for you than the meta trader 4.:rolleyes: with its use you can stratezise, prepare graphs and charts using excels only without the knowledge of MQL

The best I have found so far for ease of use on my 3 monitors is cmsfx.co.uk who is also my broker. Their vt trader 2 is great.

hey if you are looking for the charting software then you can find millions of them in the market, usage of which depends on your capability. if you are new to charting and don’t know the charting languages like mql then you can go for the meta trader 4 that will allow you to form charts with the use of excels alone.

It looks like the common opinion around here is that MD is the best charting software. I can’t say from experience but it’s what others are saying. I’m also trying to find out what’s the best charting software but … I’m having a hard time to be honest.
