Does anybody know any charting software that i can go back in time and advance through time 1 candle at a time, or is this a thing that I will need to use a simulator for? I am having trouble finding good free charts too if anybody could also lend me a hand in that area since i am not at the point where I should be paying for charts as of yet (because I am still demoing)

A broker that has excellent charts and tons of historical chart data is GFT. The bad thing is that although they will give you a demo, they will do so only for 30 days unless you give them good reason to believe you will eventually become a client. They are a bit of a pain because they call you continuously but i have done all my testing using their past data and the charts do advance one candle at a time
Thank you very much pipbull, all im planning on doing is backtesting so it sounds like that may be the spot to do it (cant see it taking me a month anyway) Thx again.
