Anyone else learning hard crypto lessons right now?

It’s strange when people with resources like his invest blindly in things. He certainly has the means to hire a whole team of researchers.
I feel like he probably made a bunch of money doing the same thing with a different coin maybe smaller amount which is what propelled him to put in more money into another of the same kind??
We’ll never know for sure without him or someone around him clarifying it, but I do think it’s quite possible.
