Been spamming the forums lately and decided it would be best to drop in here since this looks like a fun place to hang out.
I’ve been trading/investing actively for 3 years. Got bit by the bitcoin bug right before it went parabolic and have been chasing that dopamine dragon ever since. Trading FX for a year with marginal success and break-even results, but quickly learning why and adjusting accordingly. Illustrator and designer by trade; all over the place with hobbies and interests.
Past 6 months I’ve been learning python and upping my maths skills for algo/quant trading & building trade bots for my own use. Had I known there would be a practical application for stats and calc in my future, I would have paid attention more in school.
