A brief interview on the start of a New Political Party based on Trust, Integrity and Democracy - this morning !
And here is the Launch ;
THe bookies would only offer him 3;1 !
I had to smile when he introduced Jabob Rees Moggâs sister as one of his Candidates !
Jacob Rees-Mogg always strikes me as the sort of chap who wouldnât allow his sister to do anything boldâŚ
Donât you think it could be a family plot ?
Moggy - quite possibly the next conservative leader ? - His sister, prominent in the most likely Other party liable to win an election ?
Hmmm⌠he voted for the agreement last time, said half loaf etc.
In fairness he would be my choice, but reality is that the Tories will not choose him which is a pity.
Just remember that we the people donât elect the Prime Minister. We elect the MPâs and the prevailing majority of MPâs appoint the PM.
That said, I wouldnât trust that a majority of Labour MPâs would not appoint a crypto-Marxist or outright anti-democratic communist so I cannot vote for any one of them.
Yep, but do we really.
I posted elsewhere how much money Boris has received in this past year for speaking in Dublin and NY.
JRM is likewise not adverse to the lure of money, itâs just the way things are.
SCM is doing nicely thank you, we have launched our second Irish fund in July 2018.
Oh -who is SCM?
Somerset Capital Management - (Limited Liability Partnership)
So whatâs is that to do with Rees Mogg, MP for East Somerset?
Not much really except he is one of the LLPâs
I donât think the Marxist dogma is confned to the Labour Party @tommor - It seems to be pretty mainstream, if the behaviour of Google, You Tube, Facebook (âWE donât want to repeat the mistakes of 2016â) The Universities are dominated by them (Note the recent shame of Jordan Peterson being banned from a joint project with Cambtidge University Divinity Dept !
Nowadays pretty much All of the career politicians who donât need to make decisions any more are from Universities (many Oxford PPE) - I no longer think there is anything to choose between the two parties with respect to Marxism (which they do not seem to associate with âCommunismâ)
Personally I will happily vote for Corbyn (One of the few âProperâ socialist politicians left ) if it is only a choice between him and the betrayers !
If that throws the âentitledâ out of office so much teh better - let them get proper jobs !
In Name only - yes !
Like they say of Mayâs treaty âBrexit in Name onlyâ
The reality is just like Mayâs deal - the Candidates have been sanitised to hell before we ever get to see them and we must have the right number of women/ Gays / ethnics etc - forget âmeritâ - but then I suppose itmust be a pretty uninteresting job, if there is nothing to âdecideâ any more.
Then they tell us they are all âExitersâ and conspire together to prevent it happening in any meaningful way.
Hopefully we can reframe âPoliticsâ in the UK by uniting behind Farage and the Brexit Party.!
It will be interesting to see how far the prostitution of principles by Corbyn and May are prepared to go to prevent that MEP election and the complete thrashing the two parties are in for !
As for the âConservativesâ - I think it is Peter Hitchens who says that they are of all sorts of political persuasions and therefore no noticeable common philosophy that the Party is just âAn organisation for the advacement of the Sons of Gentlemenâ
I wish it were true, but somehow when you look closely, see the smile and think of the remuneration of an MEP.
Around 8000.Euro per month plus 4300 Euro (actually 1 euro less) per month for office (partner costs).
Itâs money that we will never see
I agree entirely @peterma - as I was walking around Aldi today - I thought âJeez I wonder if heâs just monetising the debacle ?â - Perhaps all those he is bringing in to be the new MEPs have agreed to give him a kickback of a couple of grand a month ?
[Perhaps that comes from something I read that Jordan Peterson says he has found a way of monetising the Left ! - which includes all the SJW claptrap ]
Didnât I read somewhere that they donât pay tax on it either ?
Know what thoâ ? Iâll give them the benefit of the doubt - he gets my vote without fail !
@Falstaff you were in Aldi Sud, a line that runs across Germany known in business circles as the âAldi Equator.â
Karl took the Sud, Theo took the North (France etc)
Quite an interesting story of business today.
Channel 4 news here about the new Brexit Party sounds a bit like something dropped off BBC ! lol
However when asked how they were going to avoid the tories getting wiped out in the MEP elections - Hammond (Chancellor) response was that they were trying to get the âdealâ passed so they donât need to have elections !
Ergo sweeping the potential drastic public comment under the carpet !
They are scared !
The youngest Professor - at 25 years old Professor of Greek at Sydney
The youngest Brigadeer in the British Army (Professors in his era did not have to be snowflakes !)
Tipped to be the next Prime Minister - he announced that he would not be a candidate at the next election !
Then he hired Birmingham Town Hall and held a meeting a couuple of days before the election and advised All to vote Labour - because they were promising an EEC referendum !
Listen to the words of one of our greatest ever thinkers !
I canât see the Anti-capitalist allowing him to become PM - Iâve been singing the praises of this guy for many years
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E81Z8b0tB58
I donât think the âBremoanersâ have the slightest idea how hard the Germans would punish us - If we DONâT LEave !
Maybe also UK law will not allow him to be PM, i cannot see him giving up his faith.
Valid point maybe - I donât know, or care that much - just seems odd that quality should be excluded by Religion - Interesting point though.
Wouldnât such a prejudice be illegal ?
Why the heck should I go out and vote for an MEP?
Personally, I donât think you should
