Having watched @Falstaff video link there is mention of ‘project fear’ .
Mr Carney and the BOE have in recent times been accused of feeding into ‘project fear’.
The reality is that CB’ers - well those that have memory of 10-12 years ago know the value of prudence, I would say that Carney is one of the more prudent, maybe a similar approach at the beginning of this century would have saved a lot of people much grief.
Also in the video there is some clouding on this sentence in the report:
The perceived likelihood of a no-deal Brexit has increased since the start of the year.
The perception is clearly that of FPC, it is their document and their thinking, not sure why Jeff Taylor raises that doubt but likely he has his reasons.
(btw is he still with ukip or did he switch to the brexit party?)
