Hi i wonder if anybody could help me I’m trying to learn to trade using an oanda account through the mt4 platform, everything seems to be set up fine but for some reason the charts are 5 hours and 5 minutes behind is this some kind of time zone thing? I live in the uk.
That’s the same with my OANDA MT4. I have a demo account with another broker, just to use MT4 platform… but I’d like to know if it is possible to change OANDA’s charts in GMT or GMT+1 charts 
I don’t think you can change it, as mt4 gets its time from oandas US server. Maybe ask or search on oandas forum.
I believe Oanda’s servers are on Eastern time (New York) and you cannot change this on MT4. I have no idea why it would be 5 minutes off though. Either your computer clock is lagging or their servers. Doesn’t sound good either way if you are trading smaller time frames.
