I’m using a demo account. The strategy requires that you find a strong trend. By looking at gold on the 1H timeframe today it shows the following:

Should I wait until til trend has established, ie until it has swinged up and down a few cycles or should I enter the trade as is?

And is the following considered in a strong trend even its starting to consolidate?

I think I wouldn’t, through a combination of the same uncertainty you feel and the resistance above from late 01 May.

I think I’d count that, yes.

I can be wrong, too, of course.

But you’re asking good questions, and most of all well done for using cTrader and avoiding Metatrader, always a big help!
