Mouteki Trading

Sure, I’m listening!

same and im wondering if this is profitable or not

edit - looks good im gonna try some manual backtesting and see what happens

With the method slightly modified, I can get an average of 800 pips per month on a 4H on a single pair (E/U). So yeah its profitable
The modifications are

  1. Place pending entries so that they will be triggered soon as the candle cuts the trendline and do not wait
  2. place 2 trades at same time one normal TP and one 50 Pip TP

and what if you dont modify it?

EDIT - do people use the mouteki indicator? or just the hand drawn trend lines?

without modification it gives about 200 pips per month on the daily and about b/e on the H4.

I use hand drawn lines because there is actually another modification which I forgot to mention. I do not go “too fat back” to find the highs and lows, the distance is subjective for now, but I am trying to get a better idea so as to make it objective.

from what i see alot of the pending entries would be hit but then you’d be stopped out

Not if you put your trades 2 pips + spread away from the trendline so that its not triggered when it “touches” the line but only when it crosses it.

ill have to take a look at that then :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi ahefner33,

I downloaded the Demark alert indicator on metatrader 4 and wonder if you can explain to me exactly how it works.
It would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Jacques

Came here as I was searching for more info on supply/demand trading and DeMark has done some splendid work on that subject. Mauteki is derived from DeMark’s work and this looks interesting. Is anyone using this method?
