This is simply a moving average that changes colour according to its slope , angle or incline, so it is blue when flat, red when it’s sloping downwards or too steep downwards and green when sloped upwards or too steep upwards.
You can change the period of the moving average and the slope threshold for colour change.
I coded it to help with my strategy but I thought someone might find it useful, so I posted it here.

Nice indicator, it is really useful thanks. Do you have the version of this indicator that is compatible with 5 digit charts? For me its ONLY showing the blue color. but in 4 digit charts its all ok. The below chart is EUR/JPY maybe the problem is for JPY crosses.
Also can you define the “Slope” input by default it is 3.25. What is it?

I love the 5 period moving average…right there, right now, on any given time frame.
The discipline comes when the moving average strays from your direction. Can always get out, can always get back in.
