Hello,
I’m having trouble back testing strategies on MT4 which i believe is due to a lack of historic data. I have tried using the download function on meta trader but can only get data back to the beginning of 2018. In addition, when i run the tester I receive the error message “Unable to calculate price”.
Reading through the forum i believe this message could be due to the lack of historic data. Where can i download reliable historic data? I’ve spoken to my broker (IG) but they have told me they don’t supply the data.
