MT4 indicators disappeared

Hi, I’m running MT4 on Vista, and have done so for ages. I had some hundred or so trendline objects on my charts, all visible on all timeframes. No other indicators or objects.

Today, ALL of my Trendlines have disappeared, and the M.A’s that I had on my charts some time back have reappeared, having been deleted ages ago.

I feel that my MT4 may be using an old object/indicator database, if that’s how MT4 keeps track, but if anyone can suggest what might have happened to my lines, that would be great. I’d LOVE not to have to re-enter them if possible.

i am not a newbie and i have lost my moving averages. i have alot of profiles and several templates and they are gone from the lot.
i have a live account with 1 broker and a demo from another broker. gone from both.
i am running windows xp sp3.
i have a mt5 demo and that is ok.
i have been running mt4 for a couple of years on this system with no problems.

it is a strange one.
