Hi ladies and gents,
I’m new to this forum and new to trading. Could anyone help me out on learning how to use MT4 . Previously i was using MACD and momentum indicators on the IG.COM demo platform and i could clearly see when the prices on converging and diverging when using the MACD, and could clearly see momentum. When i switch to MT4 the layout is different and i dont know how to read it because it is just one line going up and down

I could be wrong, but MACD should be MACD regardless of which platform you use. I have seen MACD in three or four different platforms and it is always very similar.
You are right, @Rambo35, It is similar in many platforms. @Ade, you were expecting some difference, which is why is seem to be different to you. If truly you were able to read MACD in your platform, you should be able to read it in the MT4 platform. I think this thread should be useful to you: 301 Moved Permanently

Ade, do you have a screenshot of how they look so different that you can’t understand them anymore?

on ive been using IG so im accustom to that platform
but on mt4 its just one line and i do not know what it signals

it was links not images
ass you can see on the IG platform two lines crossing indicate convergence and divergence on the MACD and for the momentum its easy to see if its high or low
on MT4 i dont know what the lines mean
can anyone help me out ?
Check your indicators setting. Makes sure that the color codes are correct.
