I’m sure that this has been asked before but is there anyway to get MT4 Oanda platform in sync with GMT???
I don’t trade from MT4 i use Oanda’s JAVA platform, so i can change my MT4 platform if needed, but it would be excelllent to sync Oanda’s MT4 platform…

I think that the MT4 time of the platform is determined by the server time of the broker so I do not think that you can change the time.
I know FXCMs’ MT4 is set to GMT+0 if that helps or have a look on MyFxbook as there it lists the brokers that use GMT+0 timezone. If you click the spread of a currency pair of a particular broker then the timezone of the brokers server will be displayed.
Thanks for the reply I set up meta trader 4 using a fxcm demo which is GMT its a pain as I spent a couple of hours setting up my charts using ict’s tools on oanda last night, and had to redo the templates in mt4 tonight thanks again, I was searching around for some magic off set code… I spoke to oanda and they said their mt4 platform is third party so its out of their hands… But to me it seems you are right its the server time feed and oanda use est?! Why would they be the only ones using est?.. Oh well, happy pipz
