I’m running MT4 on a VPS through SWVps. Is it possible for me to simultaneously login to my FXDD account through MT4 on my laptop while its running on the VPS without interfering with anything?
Can I place manual trades from my laptop if I have a bot like MegaDroid running on the VPS?
This answers my question that MT4 EA’s do run on a VPS in non-interactive mode

Yes, provided that your EA doesn’t interfere with open trades. If it does, then ensure each trade has it’s own “Magic” number.
Do you guys think it’s a good ideea to get a VPS and MegaDroid ? I’ve been thinkering with the idea of getting a VPS and having a bot like MegaDroid run on it but I’m not sure it’s worth the investment.
What’s your take on this ?

VPS is a way to go no matter what EA you are trading. I think it is too dangerous to trade on home pc. vps is cheap and sometimes it comes free with some brokers!! use the search. good luck!
VPS are cool, but they are not very fast.
