Is there any way to set mt4 to alert you when a price has been hit with some sort of a pop up message?
I trade at work so I don’t want audio alarms going off.
I don’t want an e-mail. Just a pop up meaasge that alerts me to the fact that my set price has been hit.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

You could create an invalid sound file. That would silence the alert audio that you hear. The file is selectable from any file in the /sounds file folder. So you could save an empty file in Notepad and give it an extension of .wav and select that file for the alert.
Sounds like you already have the pop up working, and it plays a sound when it pops up?
Can you turn the volume off on your pc?
Plug in headphones, and turn volume down?
That’s just it guys.
There is no pop up message.
The alets in mt4 only amit an audio signal.
I can turn the volume to zero, that’s not a problem.
What I,m looking for is an actual pop up on the screen
that is activated when a preset price is hit.
I don’t even care what the pop up say’s, because
once I’m alerted, I will maximize my mt4 window,
and be able to see what alert has been set-off
in the mt4 alerts window.
