Is it necessary to install multiple MT4 programs from brokers, or can MT4 be downloaded directly from the metatrader website and broker accounts added?
I much prefer having only one MT4 program installed rather than one for each broker.
I think you have to install MT4 for each broker. I could be wrong if you really know your techy stuff and can find in all the config files to tell it where the broker’s servers are, and gain access to their feed, etc, and alter it, but most don’t. That all comes pre-configured.
