It seems like MT4 is muted, not getting any sounds when I open the program or place trades.
I checked the Events tab under options and it’s enabled so I don’t know why this program is not putting out any sound.
Suggestions?
Are you getting sounds out of any other program? Just to be sure that it’s not MT4 and maybe your pc.
Also check to make sure your speaker settings are not on mute.
That’s the first thing I checked, it’s only MT4. I can listen to music, MSN sounds are working fine, everything but MT4 sound effects.
In the Events tab are there red X 's on the events themselves ? see attached.
You could also try browsing to your Metatrader folder on your C: drive and go to the sounds folder that’s were all the wav files are located and try double clicking on them to see if they play.
