I wrote this today mainly because of my own interest. There are many strategy reports over the internet each with Equity/Balance graph and loooong table with numbers, number, numbers… and it’s so hard for me to detect the strategy behind.
MT4 Strategy Report to Chart @ FxDreema
This tool converts .htm file generated with MT4 to .chr file that contains objects (arrows and trendlines) to show them on the chart.
There are one .chr file for each chart window currently created in MT4 (MetaTrader 4) and these files are normally located in [I]profiles/default[/I] directory. If we close MT4 and we place one more .chr file - when we start MT4 again we’ll see one more chart created.
These files are named as follows: chart01.chr, chart02.chr, chart03.chr… but if we place chart200.chr it will be drawn also.
There are Time offset parameter if orders are shifted on chart. Depending on local timezone and the timezone where the report is generated some differences in time may occur.
This tool is free. I tested it on several reports, but it’s born today and it’s probably still buggy, so if something doesn’t work as expected - let me know.
