Music to trade with

This ain’t music, but I’ve enjoyed several episodes. Worth listening to, for sure!

I definitely like to listen to music while trading. Usually opt for something chill, like lo-fi or instrumental music—it helps me stay focused without being distracting

Yes, I’m very similar to you. My music choice usually changes with what my positions are doing (I’m a very long term trader).

When the positions are pulling back or consolidating, then it’s lofi, chill or even spa/meditation music to remain calm. When the positions are in a strong bull run then it’s 80s glam / hair metal, AOR and modern hard rock. And when I need to do deep analysis it’s instrumental jazz or classical.

When the market war has end … I listen to Link’in Park. They can’t be replaced.
Thanks to Emily Marcia Armstrong for making Link’in Park live again.

Well i don’t suggest that you should listen to music while trading because it can change your mood depending on the type of music you’re listening to. But if you still wanna listen to some music than you can listen to something that makes you happy or something like nature sound etc.

Most traders would agree with you, I think at this point we are posting music we listen to or have listened to in our free time… :upside_down_face:

Not me! When studying charts/trading, I listen to whatever I want.

If I need to concentrate, I’ll pause it.

Would love to hear your playlist, if you got one.

Hey @pulpfiction !

I don’t have a playlist of my own as I enjoy finding new stuff from others playlists.

However, what I’m currently listening to is modern hard rock / AOR / metal, (as you probably guessed, with the breakout in the broader metals space, the positions are in a strong up trend! )

IMO, the modern European bands are just phenomenal in this genre.
(BTW I used to be a serious guitar player in the 80s-90s, so my music taste is extremely broad, but these modern bands play at a level I could only dream of back in the 90s)

So here’s what I’m currently listening to:

First up, there’s no better way to get energized in the morning, a touch of nostalgia, the girls of the 80s are still smokin’ hot, still sends the heartrate into overdrive even after 40 years…

Here’s a gang of late bloomers, fantastic musicians and a lead singer in his 50s with an awesome set of pipes:

And the lead singer also has some solo stuff, a bit more modern AOR:

These guys are also great:

A bit more fun party rock:

Fantastic progressive metal band:

This is a lot of fun, I can do this all day, but need to get some analysis done. If you liked these, I can add some more later.
