Hi guys I’ve made some EA’s out there, but none of them were really worth to do a forward test of.So i`ve just built my nr. 2 Holy Grail which I would like to put on forward test since this is my first EA that didn’t blow the account in a week.Although it might look a bit scary with 35% DD, many good EA’s made that and still survived.
I would like to hear your opinion about my EA’s reliability, the opinion about DD ,profit, loss and such.

Looks good to me. 10% gain a day so far. Imo, there needs to be a longer forward testing period for this to be meaningful at all though, or for us to make any meaningful comments. What are your rules for entering? How much are your risking? 35% DD is fine for an aggressive smaller account that is just a portion of your basket of net worth.
Where can I learn to write an EA? I have some good ideas and beginner programming skills.
I’ve just put it into forward test last week, what more data you expect in 1 week.If it will be good then i will continue the fw test,you you can follow it.I can’t tell my entry/exit rules it’s confidential, but i can tell that it’s trading trend lines and S/R levels with only minor indicator influence.Risk is 1 minilot /trade + an average close at loss at 10-20 pips so i guess around 1-2% account risk for 100% initial capital.It has no SL or TP yet since i will put those on after i figure out the maximal local minimums and maximums to adjust them to those since the EA closes orders automatically , the SL and TP will be only used for safety precautions but the trade itself will be managed by the bot.

Currently i have like -20 $ floating cash, divided into 10+ open trades, so i guess thats not that bad since some of them may change direction.Eventually this EA will win.My concerns are that i dont wish to set a new maximum to the DD.The current DD should be the all time maximum forever and never to be someting higher.
Opps i guess this won’t be a holy grail anymore. EA failed, time to create another one.Don’t worry i will investigate what went wrong and correct the problem or put a brand new EA to the test :21:
