Hello everyone. I have been kicking around this site off and on for a while and I thought I’d make my intro.
I’m an American living in Australia. I have been trading off and on for a year or so as workload permits.
When I began trading my charts were lousy with every indicator known to man. These days I have been using mostly price action, pivot points, and on occasion some EMAs.
Hi back at ya spacejunk and welcome to the BabyPips.com community! Glad to have ya aboard, and just wondering, how do you like living in Australia? And big differences, both positive or negative? Thanks for joining up and looking forward to hearing more from ya!
Hi and thanks for the reply. Well lets start with 5 weeks of paid vacation a year. One of my favourite things. The people are great and Australia is absolutely beautiful. I think the only negative I can come up with is the cost of living here, but I plan on becoming a citizen next year and may never move back to the USA.
Oh and I get to trade Asia when I wake up, London after work. New York session is a little late for me so I don’t trade that, but can’t beat that. When I lived in Boston if I wanted to trade London I had to wake up around 3AM. I didn’t like that so much
Yeah, getting to trading London is pretty important, but so is the US session. I hope you figure out a way to get to take a look at both, especially if you’re leaning towards more short-term trading. Glad to hear you’re loving down in Aussie land…looking forward to hear more about that and your trading in the future!
