Hi Dennis do you sell as soon as a bar hits the 20 sma, for the bear short confirmed?
or do you sell once the bar that has touched the 20 sma closes?
or do you wait for a red bar for sell to close under the 20 sma?
Hi Dennis, just going back over some posts and just wanted to clarify this. Pending orders (stop & limit orders) can only get picked up (filled) at a later time & price. Market orders are filled at what ever the current market price is now. So you only use market orders then correct? Because like you said, who knows what condition the market is in, in the future.
yes market orders for opening trades. i am a manual trader. If we had a EA its purpose would be to tell us what charts to look at for potential trade for SQ. BC trades no need for an EA as BC occur very frequently but are not as safe as SQ with momentum. My fav trades are SQ with added on BC.
And favorite Entry are SQ with momentum. i.e. a nice footprint (current candle Taller then average last candle, bigger footprint…means momentum is picking up not reducing)

On the chart bears were in control from the way the candle printed! Up movements weak, down movements nice and consistent. Weak Bull pullback ! Then Entry on the weak bull pullback to go short as close to the 20 as possible.
Gbp/sushi only have one trade entered so far today, not in the mood for it. tHE TRADE IS still open and i took half profit. a GOOD EXample of an sq. I like the sq its a sure bet once you can id it on the chart. Takes time to master as you have to know when its forming. Tp should be the 200 but its a big gap the 200. . now the postion is running at 1 lot balance half profit taken from 2 lots. I will scale this down to half lot very soon and let the remaining half run for anything 200SMA or + or sl. note the dark blue sma thats the 13 sma. The candles were spiking a lot around the entry for the 20 sma sq so i used a 13 to smooth price around that. The fibs are as per my teachings not as per the teachings of others. My fibs are bang on the money you can see my fib points from 200 sma to 1.2685 to 1.2624

man did you just draw a fib from a 200 sma to the 20 sma. I like it never thought of that before.

Hi P good question. the small green triangle on the big Red Elephant bar on the 24th is my long entry (This is advanced trading we have not covered this on this thread) and the other small green triangle on the 25th is another long entry for the Squeeze (This is advanced trading ! I want you guys to enter on the Circle not early like me, Basically My Entry is a Combo of Fibo and SQ. We will cover this once everyone can master what i have already been teaching. i.e. enter on the circle.

Yes I did AND i always do, and the forecast for that fib is good for 24 hours sometimes even a week. Look how this Fib held up on the same currency as my trade or 10 hours after the fib was drawn. This is still a little advanced for this thread, i really want to cover this combo when everyone has got the basic SQ and BC nailed.

yes so this is why i said the 20 is turning so dont short it maybe a sq in formation. Here is that chart now and see it went tiny sq for aboout 5 hours
