Sup all, I’m new to the trading world so I have little experience and familiarity with trading. What I do have is good instincts and common sense. I’m looking for someone who’s really knowledgeable on trading, who’s been reading everything out there but afraid to trade himself (or maybe has a small account). I’m willing to team up with you and make a strategy for trading, as well as put up my own capital. We’ll start small and go from there. So essentially it’s like a demo but it kinda matters. You know the concepts and don’t have to feel the adverse effects of risk. I’m risk tolerant and looking to learn about the trading world. The way I learn is by doing it. I can’t sit down and read every trading book there is, it’s just not my style. I formulate my own knowledge based on what I do and see and learn from my mistakes. If we do well, I can even give you a cut. Again, my purpose is to learn and not make money right now.
Let’s obtain all the prerequisites to trading:
Broker Account - (doesn’t really matter I’m guessing. One of the more reputable ones)
Software - (I’d like a real time charting software that’s easy to use. Tradestation piques my interest. I would sign up for that if it was necessary. Ninjatrader? What are the best tools? We want to be in prime position.)
Let’s identify what markets we want to trade in? Stocks, futures, forex, gold, oil? what? And which markets?
Let’s make a plan, time-frame wise. How long are we looking to hold our positions?
We will keep a log of all our trades and reasons why. Let’s talk…
Just pay for a mentor. If you got money to blow… but really, why would u go thru finding someone and going thru all the heartaches of learning to trade when you could just get out of ur comfort zone and READ. Just inside the ICT thread theres thousands of dollars worth of trading info IMO. Exhaust all the free opportunities before throwing money out the window. ICTs thread isnt the only one either, I just threw that one out cause it is the most vast as far as the amount of content/info on babypips. You should atleast keep checking out Jays(eremarket) thread. Good luck!
Someone who is knowledgeable in a field isn’t necessarily successful or good… And someone who is too scared cannot be called a trader. Seriously, don’t be lazy and learn yourself!
Kash… I give you credit for originality, that’s for sure. I’ve never heard of a deal quite like this… although I’m not exactly the guy that’s afraid to trade my own money…why don’t you hit me up. This could be fun, and besides I have recently started to create a comprehensive trade analysis journal, and was even considering posting some of it up on baby pips. Anyway, send me a PM if your still interested, and lemme see if I am able to help you out.
:43:
haha good advice though. I’m just looking to learn as I go.
I’m not saying “trade for me.” I’m saying let’s combine our abilities, make sense of all the info out there, and refine it into a strategy. I will try not to be lazy ahha.
signals providers?
zulutrade?
What’s that? I’m that new lol. And I probably wouldn’t be following a signal provider because it sounds like disaster.
PM’d
I will take a look. You have to admit, there is a lot of extra info on there though and it’s hard to put in practice if you’ve never traded.
But seriously, at this point, what do you have to offer? Trading capital? Tell you what, give me $50K, I’ll trade and split profits 60/40 your way. You get decemt returns, I get some spare cash.
Not too bad of a deal if you ask me. Haha, other members are welcome to flame at me now. XD
Yes and there are different ways of learning different walks of life.
I wasn’t going to fuel the fire but since someone else chimed in, I’ll explain. I didn’t ask for a professional trader who wins every time did I? I said you bring the handbook, I’ll bring the money, and we’ll figure it out. It always helps to have multiple points of views, constructive ones at least. Someone who’s read everything doesn’t mean he’s a winning trader. It just means he knows the rules of the game. I should really change the thread title cuz some people are taking it too literally. Maybe you should read the post and not the title next time.
Sup yo, I’m trying to figure out how someone who sounds like a teenager can have so much money, must be a business whiz. Anyway u should learn 2 trade cuz it really ain’t that hard, although I must admit, if ur slow like me it can take a long time to get good at it!
