My name is Nico, I live in Canada but I am originally from Mongolia. There is only one goal in my life, that I want to be highly independent so I can help many others. Question is, how?. I found myself a great motive a month ago, as I met somebody who changed my life just being there. At some point I don’t know how much hardship she is going through, but her dedication to overcome all those problems made me reborn. Which is why I am here to make changes in my life, so I can help her and give her hope to stand up once again. Even though if she never walks again, I wanna be her boat to show the world, with new motivation and new journey.
According to Forex trading, I’ve done only few trades in the past and literally have no experience what so ever, but willing to learn everything if possible and take a big step forward. I don’t know many success stories, but I wanna make one myself someday. I want my generation to survive with discipline and humbly learn how to lose, instead of complaining for pains, crying for blood, talking like 10 years old but 30 years old, while actual 10 years old kids talking like 30 years old in this generational collusion.
I am hoping to meet many people here to guide me through my journey or to be guided when the time comes.
Great introduction and welcome! What are you currently doing as your primary source of income? Trading can take a long time for it to become your primary or even supplemental source of $$ so I hope you have time a lot of spare time and enough cash on you to provide as buffer while you learn how to trade.
Lots of threads here on demo trading and part-time trading, just use the search button!
Well, I am aware of those. I work as a dispatcher for a trucking company of a relative, and the time is a luxury for me. So I wanted to learn more about currency and exchange to be able to travel while working. Pretty much long term goal.
You are going to have your work cut out to become successful, Nico. It’s one of the toughest challenges for anyone, let alone newbies.
I would suggest you start educating yourself on this great site one step at a time, and see if it suits you and your lifestyle. While trading FX is quite simple, it’s certainly not easy.
You could open a demo account to practice and experiment on, which could prepare you for venturing a live account. However, that’s a whole new ball game, and psychologically difficult. So don’t give up your day job.
Mongolia - a country I really enjoyed visiting a few years back!
Welcome Nico and what I will say is roll up your sleeves as the hard work starts now. The site here has loads of good info to get you started but a lot of the work will fall on you. Practicing, testing, tweaking, self assessing your own personality etc. Nothing open you up and exposes your weaknesses like this job so be prepared for that.
Keep the spirit high! Forex trading is a long-time career and it won’t show results when you start doing it. Keep exploring the market and taking risks so that you gain your own experience and know where to start and where to stop.
ooh you’re in the trucking industry in Canada! Wild times!
I hope to see more of you here! If you start a trading journal like to just publicly post your trades, that helps not just in accountability but also in taking the time to scrutinize your trades!
