I’m Simon and I have been trading for the last 2 years on and off. I began with an initial small investment and managed to kill it within the space of a few months. Followed by another and another. No surprise to many in our community. I was doing everything backwards (and still do sometimes), had the get rich quick buzz, didn’t understand the market, had no structure to my trades, over-leveraging syndrome, staring at the screen for hours watching movement on lower time-frames… the usual 
After Christmas, I decided to get back into trading again with a new strategy. Over the last two years, I believe I have learned a lot and that I have gradually become more disciplined. My current strategy is following swings using mainly price action on daily charts. Although, I do use an oscillator and two moving averages. My risk is low using small lot sizes and I try catch the bigger moves leaving plenty of room for movement. My monthly goal is +5-10%. At the moment, I have no plans to become a full-time trader, I love my job too much. Although open to the advantages if I can continue successfully. I see it as a means of making a few euro extra and the nature of markets just interests me!
Anyway, the reason why i’m joining this forum is to be part of a community of like minded people with a common interest. Hopefully I can learn some things on the site.
