New Trading platform

Hello everyone,

I have developed in the last year a software for automating trading with a high level of variables configurations, it’s very flexible; basically it will allow a user to set up an strategy by changing some variables without any need of programming.

It’s based on Bollinger Bands but uses RSI, MFI, ADX, ATR, Bands Precent and MFE/MAE as secondary indicators for the strategy, also has a good money management configuration capability in which SL/TP levels can be conditionally set based on ATR, Standar Deviation, MFE/MAE or a fixed ammount of pips.

There are some other behavior options as follows:

  1. Adaptative Take Profit. This is a “breath” level in which the system will follow a winning trend by letting the price go up and down after take profit level has been reached.

  2. Bounce back on profit. Will open a position in the opposite direction if last closed position was in the money.

  3. Only close in the money.

  4. Use matingale recovery

Besides this functionality date settings can be configured for trading in a specific hour or week day.

It also graphics and has a chart summary for open positions as you can see in attached images.

For connecting to a live account and getting real time data, it uses FXConnect API and is ready to be used with a FXCM account (real or testing).
Aslo, can be used for backtesting. It processes any SQ_TickData_Downloader file for tunning.

Looking for a partner that could see platform’s potential and start a Web campaign for online selling, SEO and website building experience would be a must.

Any feedback is welcome, don’t hesitate to contact me in private.

Almost forgot, I call it Tradex.

Thanks in advance and happy trading.

it is not a trading platform, it is an EA with a graphical frontend.

Well, that’s your point of view and depends on what you define by platform.

But EA is a “metatrader” thing and this has been developed from scratch using .Net framework.

it has the ability to communicate and make decisions on it’s own means so yes, I would say it is a platform.

Also, considering an open source release.

I would second this. It’s just a trading system with a GUI and uses API.

You could just as easily create something like this in “EA” format, with the features as inputs. The difference is that it wouldn’t look as nice (although if one gets creative enough, they could make a nice looking HUD) and execution would be slower as it wouldn’t use API to route orders.
