I found a new volume indicator at TradersHelpDesk. Surprisingly, I found that the color of the volume bar (buyers versus sellers) wasn’t important – it is really about the height of the volume bars, which is also what Tom Williams says in his book, Master the Markets (you can download the book free from their website). It might be good for learning volume patterns.
You can get VSA (volume) indicators for free from many forums.
There is no reliable volume information for the OTC FX market. What you guys have is tick counters which might have some limited use, but is mostly for entertainment purposes if you know what I mean :rolleyes:
Reading forex tick volume is a HUGE part of my successfull trading strategy. I use the simple volumes indie that comes with mt4. This debate ended two years ago.
