Hello to all. I am just starting to read about the forex and I am going through the school on this site. I would like to know what software and or demo account site you good folks would suggest. Any advice is appreciated

Don’t get impatient, only start with real money once you feel confident AND are able to consistently make money over a longer period. The markets will still offer opportunities tomorrow, next week, next year, and in 10 years. Don’t hurry.
Furthermore, I want to give you THE most important tip for trading:
The one secret to successful trading is: ‘Only take trades with a Reward/Risk Ratio >= 2’
The reason: You will never get a high hit ratio. Even professional traders with year-long experience only have hit-ratios of around 50%. But when your winning trades are much larger than your losing trades, you still make very nice money with a hit ratio < 50%.
What actual method you then employ is left to you. Choose what you like, what you feel comfortable with and what you can combine with your daily life. With this principle you can trade everything profitable: From very long-term fundamentally-driven relaxed trend-following down to extremely short-term hyper-stressful market scalping.
And: Always set your position sizes and stop losses in such a way that you NEVER lose more than around 2% of your whole trading capital. Newbies usually take much too high risks (20% risk or more). When you have a risk of 20% per trade, your account is dead after 5 losing trades. Dead means DEAD. When you risk only 1% per trade, you will only feel some pain. Concentrate on capital preservation. Profits are optional (but will come after a while when you have learned how to NOT lose much money).

Ok so I got Onada practice account and started working with eur/usd and later on did a little bit on chf/jpy. ended only making like 12 bucks. But I thought i would lose for sure so im pretty happy. I need to get a good method though cause I was mostly guessing. Any help in getting a regular thing I can use to signal a buy would be great… thanks
