Can somebody point out to a news trading successful EA ? Either which auto trades on built in calendars, or those that we manually insert to charts at the time of news.
Has anyone any experience on Condor v2 news EA?

I am anti-EAs in general… especially concerning those
that are heavily marketed. Now, EAs are bad enough
but “news EAs” are even more so. What really is
the purpose of a news EA anyhow? Even seasoned
traders lose during news and you expect an EA to
better these traders during the news? Come on…
Learn to trade instead ok?
Can you please tell me how do we lose if we adopt a Straddle type EA for news?

The price goes up activating your long trade, then reverses to your stop
loss, at the same time activating your short trade, reversing again in an
upward direction taking out your short stop loss.
If you have an OCO though you will just lose on the long trade.
Traders can make money on news trading, but they need a great deal
of experience, which an EA cannot emulate.
As has been said “Learn to trade instead ok?”
I started out Forex with news straddles… Did ok but then you can lose it all in ONE trade I came close. The problem with many straddles is the brokers spread increases during news and they can have ALOT of slippage…
So you could get in and be stopped out by increased spread. Or your slipped and you are filled at a price that you will never see again. Or it sllipped right by your stop, it does happen.
News is very hard at best and can be the killer of your account. It is possible of course as many people do trade it and make money. But I feel it takes longer to learn to trade RIGHT than almost any other strategy you might choose.
