No execution cause of dead mouse

On friday, Seconds before the end of the Trading Session Dax30 cfd a dead mouse killed my planned position.According to the EU summit that weekend I expected some volatility in Dax30 at the opening on monday, so I wanted to open a straddle (Dax30 long and short position) during the last seconds on Friday to speculate on an up or down gap Monday 0800hrs.
So I took the short position 5 seconds before the end of session and a second later, when I clicked on the " buy" field on mt4 with my mouse to open the long position there was no click, cause the mouse was suddenly dead…

FU…!!
Now I am only short and hope that the expected gap is a down gap.

Anybody experienced similar situations?

Now that can be written in your book of rules (part of your trading plan). Do not wait till it’s too late to recover from DeadMouseSyndrome

Sure, DMS (DeadMouseSyndrom) is registered.
But apparently not the Devil but an Angel killed the mouse, cause Dax30 opened with down gap and I locked in 9,45 Bucks profit…
