I have been on this forum and learned my first steps with Babypips.com sometime around 2008/2009. At that time, I was recently laid off from a 5 year tech support gig, got a nice severance, threw it into forex, lost a bunch of money, made it back, lost it again, and now I have made it back and then some. I work full time now, but I have been trading on an off again, since getting that job. More recently my trading activities have picked up and I am nearing the point where I earn close to my salary in trading. I am aiming to live off of my trading activities and perhaps start mentoring people as a day job of sorts. I read a ferocious amount of text daily (books, web, etc), and the next book I read will be the 4 hour work week, and I aim to make it happen, or something close to it. Hi everyone, btw! I love this forum
Sounds like you’ve ran the route: lost mon£y, made mon£y, lost it again & then found your rhythm - it’s a typical FX story (which fingers crossed I follow, hopefully with less losses & actually also getting to the end point of being consistent). It sounds like you’re doing alright for yourself now so well done & keep us all updated as you progress.
Good luck & bag some pips!
