Hi I just want to know what are your opinions about oanda as a broker for a trader with just a 1000 USD account?? Are the fees low?? Commisions? Its credibility? If there are any suggestions. Can you give me one??
yes oanda is a good broker , forex.com , dukascopy , there are many reputable brokers
i suggest you to trade longterm and hold it to a month or more if you want to do forex
I use Oanda with a smaller account ($2000), its pretty credible as far as brokers go, reasonable spreads, good selection of trading pairs. On most of the small accounts it’s just the spread your paying for trades so that part is good, as for the swaps, they are fine for normal trading pairs. If i could give one big suggestion it would be to not trade the exotics on Oanda because the swaps they give are horrendous and they can be particularly illiquid at times
