Can anyone tell me how to change the basic chart format to candlestick in oanda?
Ive no idea what the defult im seeing at the moment is - its not bar, its not a line on close, its like a bucnh of candles all the same color without wicks - very strange - and after spending nearly an hour looking at all the settings i cant seem to change it…
There’s a pull down menu above the chart, see attached image.
Don’t forget to save your template so you get that as your standard setting.
Why do you wanna do charting with Oanda?

Thanks. Turns out I had cookies disabled which is why i couldnt access the drop menus!!! :-0
Whilst the charting is not the best ive seen its OK for basic needs.
I may use MT4 for parts of my analysis but its nice to be able to see the price your actual broker is quoting as well!!!
Is there any way of hiding or removing the weekend data?
Does anyone do that, or just use other charting packages eg mt4?
