I’m going to open an account With about $500. I’ve heard oanda is reliable but many of their spreads are around 10 pips. Is this normal for them? Who are some other reliable brokers?
Cannot be. I’m using oanda and it’s about 1.1 to 1.4 pips
depending on the time when you trade, it can go up to 10 pips for a short period of time, but usually it is between 1-2 pips.

yap i like oanda too. i use the mobile app to trade.

I love oanda platform. N the service they provide. In singapore oanda is controlled by singapore MAS. So meaning it trustworthy. Singapore people all scare to die… Lol as long as anything gov involved means it safe n good. Wahaha
I use Fullerton Markets. The spread is 2-3 pips for a variable account. And way less for an ECN account. It uses the MT4 platform and available on mobile too.
Im an Oanda fan as well. Haven’t had any issues with them at all.
I went with Oanda. I’m happy with them so far. First week trading. Made 132 pips so far
I think the price touched the stoploss after counting in the spread of 1.4pips (guessing from your screenshot), thus the stoploss was triggered.

I’ll try not to commercialize any broker here. But so far, I had heard really good news about TickMill. Probably you should give em a try ?
