Oanda's Platform and Website - Some Issues

Hi,

I’m New to forex trading. I’ve just created a demo account, and started to use the FxTrade Practice application on windows. It keeps disconnecting every 3-5 minutes! Definitely not a connection issue on my desktop. On occasion this happens with an error message in an alert telling me “there is no such user as <my username>”. Is the platform really like this to you guys?


As an alternative, I tried to set up MT4. But the link supplied from the dashboard screen after the login instead takes me to an error page:



Lastly, the sign in page doesn’t work as intended… The website frequently sends me back to that page even when I’ve signed in previously! I’ve tried to contact support by their email listed on that same page: customer-support at oanda dot com, and the email bounced. Am I visiting a wholly different website from the rest of you?! It’s the year 2016, frankly this is not something I expect from a well-established company…

To follow up on the sign in issue on the FxTrade Practice application I discovered that it’s just my internet connection.
