Not entirely sure that this is the right thread or forum for my question, but I am going to ask anyway. You never know…
To give you a little bit of background information. I have been trying to find online details about the procedure and licensing requirements for establishing a forex dealer in Canada from scratch, but so far I haven’t had much luck. The information is scarce, to say the least. I wonder why that is?
While it is relatively easy to find all the necessary information about licensing in EU or offshore jurisdictions.
In general I would like to find out what is necessary to start a forex company in Canada, what the capital requirements are, what key personnel needs to be hired, what internal policies and procedures need to be created and put in place, etc.
I would very much appreciate any information that you can share with me.
