Open/Close positions when candle closes above/below a certain level (MT4)

Hello

I want to place my orders in MT4 based on the close price (in any time frame I desire such as H1, H4, D1 etc) rather than realtime price. So, as an example, in a long trade, in H4 time frame, I need MT4 to open an order once price fully closes above a certain level at H4. Currently, MT4 places orders only based on real-time price info. As a result, price touches my entry level but really doesn’t break through it in many instances.

Would it be possible to add two new options to MT4 new order window:

  1. To specify which price it has to act on (realtime or close)

  2. To specifiy which timeframe it has to act on

An example:

Not to the window. You will need a script or trading panel.

Now you have three options. Learn to code and do it youself. Pay someone. Ask like you have here. The third option won’t work.

I want to do exactly the same thing. Did you manage to find out how to do this?

This seems invaluable as a breakout is only confirmed with a close above the break line!

I would think everybody would want this…
