You can code an EA to expire.
Maybe so ,but what if it’s not coded to expire.
In the four years I have coded EAs there have been two major changes that invalided most EAs. The first was the adoption of five digits by most brokers. The second was the adoption of ECN processing by many brokers. EAs written more than 3 years probably won’t run unless you deal with a non-ECN 4 digit broker. Go back another 3 years when most brokers used MT3 and you will find another bunch of unuable EAs. Once most brokers convert to MT5, today’s EAs will be invalid.

You should contact the company that sells it for support. They will probably try to sell an upgrade, but expired software is unusable.
So what do recomend me to do ?I dont mind scrapping the 52(el cheapo).For the moment I"m just geting my feet wet.Busy celebrating australia day for the moment(few coldies you know with family).At the moment just playing around with different options trying to learn about manual trading and the rest.By the way where are you? I guess the best to do now is keep on exploring different options. Almost anything you try will be of some benefit. For me, I found listening to and attending seminars to be the most helpful. They gave me lots of ideas to think about and kept me focused. Its a long road to success, best of luck.
