Hi all,
I’m embarrassingly new and I hope someone can give me some pointers on really basic things with this trade.
I’m trying to get the hang of a bug-free MT4, simple order placement and other basic things.
I’m in this trade right now and I’m having a hard time reading the whole thing. I can’t tell if I got kicked off the trade or if it’s still open. If so, I would have thought there would be a running balance as the price changes. If the trade is over, any post-mortem comments or input would really be appreciated.
Here’s the screenshot. For some reason, the indicators (Asian Session and a blue Rectangle) didn’t copy with the printscreen.
The analysis is of the Judas Swing coming after the Asian Session. Please feel free to make any comment you wish as long as it’s constructive.
Thanks and happy trading,
Mike
That trade never triggered, so technically, it’s still “pending”.
Thanks Master Tang. I’m still looking for how to operate within an open or pending trade and I’m having a tough go of it. If this trade is pending, I can’t find a way to cancel it, or to move stops… I expect the price to drop - but the probability of it at this point is really questionable. So if I need to get out of trades… I probably should learn how. : )
Mike
double click the trade ( green part ), then delete the trade, ( yellow tab)
adjust stops by double clicking on StopLoss , and modify
Just practice with it Mike, it takes time, dont rush,
you could take look at this youtube video, but the guy is very VERY annoying, sounds like he just had oral surgery or something.

“gasp” - I laughed out loud - I don’t need annoying, but then it might go well with my inutterable ignorance.
You know, I didn’t do anything and the trade has disappeared from the “Trade” tab window. I just want to make sure I don’t have anything open or pending. Just trying to get a feel for the controls.
It does feel rushed… what I’d like to do is become really comfortable with the controls before I even start taking a harder look at actual demo trades.
Thanks Money
