Hi traders. How can you tell that you are overtrading? Maybe you trade more than a specific number of trades per day.
i’ve overtraded if it turns out with hindsight (at the end of the day, or whenever) that one or more of the trades i entered didn’t really match my pre-defined entry criteria
how else can you know?
no, i can’t tell that way: i can’t tell in advance how many qualifying entries there might be, during my working hours
as many as possible, for sure (i have my edge and obviously want to exert it as often as possible), but i have no way of predicting how many that will be

This is it. When it comes to this point, i have overtraded; or perhaps a meter to detect i have revenge-traded.
I avoid this at all cost.

Yes, correct. It might be % drawdown for some people.
For me, signs of I might overtrade for that session is if I start to force my opinion in the market. I might eventually caught the move but my account balance is bleeding because of attempting too many times. More than 3 times are considered a lot to me.
