Most newbie traders do not have the patience to wait for a proper market position to trade. They try daily to open new order or recover their losses by opening new order. This is like digging a big hole which may be cause of death of the trader’s account. So, we should wait for a proper market position and open a new order after.
Moreover, waiting is the best thing to do instead of being in loss by haste because if you place the trade in haste without finding the trend of market then there are much chances of loss for you therefore you should wait for the placing the trade when the market trend is suitable for you.

Yes definitely the patience is main factor for success in Forex. Sometimes some trading pairs moves like mad and it’s risky to open new order and on the oposite way sometimes is the trading pair not moving for long time. So need to be patient.

Patience is something I am having to learn very quickly as I start out with my FOREX journey. I am used to being gungho with my deals. for instance I recently entered an order that was perfect on a bearish engulf waited 4 hours and ended closing my position for a 11 pip gain however if I had gone back to the charts and waited I would have made upward of 11-12 further pips by waiting another hour or more (plus all the usual impatience induced losses I have made as well), this one was a big lesson to me in patience and reading the charts and indicators.
Yes I agree to that patience is compulsory not necessary. The reason why most forex traders fail is not because they do not understand how the market goes, but because they do not have the ability to wait for the appropriate time to trade.
