Percentage change seems not to make sense to me

Hey people … Of recent i realised that when GBP/JPY has a percentage change of maybe 0.37% and maybe NZD/JPY has 0.57% GBP/JPY seems to have moved more pips yet it has a less percentage change than NZD/ JPY. GBP/JPY could have moved maybe 150pips while NZD/JPY has moved by maybe 90pips and this seems to make no sense to me. Could anyone help me understand why it happens to be that way and that applies to almost all pairs against GBP/JPY. THANKS

A pip is 0.0001 of the pair’s price, except for JPY pairs, in which case it is 0.01 of the price.

It follows that each pip has a different value, as each pair has a different price.

(It also follows that ATR’s are not directly comparable either.)

The market is volatile. However, it will be necessary to analyze whether Price will be there after a while in the position it is now.
