Hello everyone,
I am new to excel and don’t know much about this tool. Can anyone help me out in making the excel sheet which will pick the daily, weekly and monthly figures of stock and forex from internet and gets calculated as per the formula prescribed by me. It should get updated whenever i click on update and gives the wanted result.
Also, if there is already any tool here like this then can anyone give me the link. :51:

Seems like you don’t have experience with programming yet. You’re going to have to start from the basics and search online for that. You’re going to need to know which website as well, what that website is encoded and using, etc. I’d take a look at Yahoo, except they only have end of day data.
Edit: I don’t like advertising 3rd party products on here. But I do know that NeuroXL has an Excel add-in that allows one to very easily download the data from Yahoo and a few other free data sources. It might make it easier for you. (I’m not affiliated with them. Please don’t ban me Admins - I’m only trying to help. >_<)

Thank you very much for showing such concern. I checked out the product but it is way to detailed. Let me clear you, i just need a EOD data, maybe you can say high, low and close of the day and then want them to put in some formula for desired result that too for daily, weekly and monthly. Thats it!!! No strings attached.
And yes i am really bad in programming. If you think only learning programming for excel can help (if no body out there can help) then please let me know so that i get start from that point.
