An unexplained or unsupported statement cannot be taken at face value; the statement regarding Mayorkas-DHS I gave him, but the other statements without explanation cannot be taken at face value.
I’ve seen PLENTY of MULTIPLE reports on all the stuff he mentioned. Of course, it’s on FoxNews and not CNN or MSNBC or any of the network news shows.

FBI investigating Catholic Church in New Orleans for child sex abuse
The FBI has launched a sprawling sex abuse investigation into the Roman Catholic Church in New Orleans that’s targeting predator priests who may have taken kids across state lines to molest them and were never reported to law enforcement, it was revealed Wednesday.
So far this year, more than a dozen alleged victims have been interviewed by federal investigators and some of the cases include allegations that clergy members abused kids during trips to amusement parks in Texas and Florida and camps in Mississippi.
“It’s been a long road and just the fact that someone this high up believes us means the world to us,” a former altar boy, who claims he was abused beginning in the 1970s while in the fifth grade and on trips to Colorado and Florida, told the Associated Press.
The probe, which is a rare undertaking for federal investigators, is examining whether aging members of the clergy can be charged with violating federal law, including the Mann Act — a 1910 anti-sex-trafficking law that prohibits bringing people out of state for illicit sex.

A Catholic Massachusetts couple were denied the ability to foster children because their beliefs didn’t agree with the LBGTSK+ community.

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan issued a subpoena to FBI Director Christopher Wray on Monday for documents as House Republicans investigate the circumstances surrounding a since-withdrawn memo from the bureau’s Richmond field office that focused on extremism in the Catholic Church.
This probe, led by Jordan and conducted out of his subcommittee tasked with investigating alleged “weaponization” of the federal government, was spurred by a January 23 document generated by the FBI’s Richmond field office titled “Interest of Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists in Radical-Traditionalist Catholic Ideology Almost Certainly Presents New Mitigation Opportunities.”
Jordan claims that the leaked internal memo suggests that certain Catholic Americans were targeted by the FBI and could be considered domestic terrorists and accused the FBI of seeking “to enlist Catholic houses of worship as potential sources to monitor and report on their parishioners.”
An FBI spokesperson did not immediately respond to CNN’s request for comment regarding the subpoena, but they previously told CNN that, “While our standard practice is to not comment on specific intelligence products, this particular field office product - disseminated only within the FBI - regarding racially or ethnically motivated violent extremism does not meet the exacting standards of the FBI.”

This is a fake news headline and thus not correct.
Evergrande have filed for bankruptcy protection - it’s a chapt 15 - legal manoeuvre that shields non US business from creditors while the business is seeking to re-structure debt.
Doesn’t mean they will file for bankruptcy, nor that they will not - depends on the current negotiations.
It’s a case of watch this space.
