Political Opinion

Trump could throw poop on his fans and tell them it’s chocolate and they would eat it, so he’s out the White House and he’s telling you who’s calling shots, and you beleive him, one thing about trump he knows his fan base

Are there really traders in the USA that are pro-Democratic Party?
Democrat President+ Democrat Cobgress = US citizens aren’t allowed to trade.
Not good for the home team

I’m not sure, as far as I know, the regulators have it on lock, have the burden been lessen within the last 20yrs

I’d like to see a return to liberals and conservatives. Tip ONeill and Reagan figuring things out.
I respect RFK. I’d be fine with him as President.

Anymore the Democratic Party seems to represent the interests of illegal aliens, jihadis, communists, perverts, neocon war mongers, and globalists.
Its a big tent full of crap!
I don’t see how they are helping any of the regular people anymore.
Its not the 1960s.
Sad what the party has become. My 2 cents is please vote for amyone except the Democrats!
Every Democrat I respect has left the party. (and there were quite a few Democrats I respected 10 years ago).
The Biden Administration is a train wreck.

We need to vote him out of there. I don’t care if its RFK or Trump, just please no more Biden!

I completely agree with you that Biden must go. Let’s see what Trump does during his next term

BTW: I was hoping the Trump administration’s rollback of Dodd-Frank would benefit forex traders, but it didn’t, It wasn’t for the small guy

Agreed. That was disappointing. Hoping a term 2 would see more aggressive measures…

On topic of your “The Hill” article, I don’t think Democrat race baiting is going to work. There is a lot of the population that is beige lol and doesn’t give a rat’s ass about our neighbor’s skin pigment.
News flash, people of all races vote Republican or Independent
Sorry, party of the slave owners can’t play that game in 2024. Most of us are sick of it and smarter than they think we are.
Even if USA is only 40% “white” Democrats are not guaranteed to win

There’s no doubt about it, the Democrats relied too much on race and some will argue the Republicans do as well. but neither party will be able to rely on race in the future.

It’s pretty much over, the burden was lessened on the banks, and that’s all that matters

The little guy is always forgotten, and you should know that more than anyone else.

This election is going to be my first time sitting out

Isn’t Trump the same age Biden was during the last election?

Biden was too old back then, but Trump at the same age now, isn’t an issue? They’re both old geezers. We can do better.

Unfortunately, Biden has advancing dementia… He spends his days walking around in circles, scratching his a-ss and bumping into things… When he’s not falling down or shaking hands with dead people… His handlers are running the United States… Not Joe Biden…

Trump on the other hand while the same age is way sharper and far more economically savvy…

@Xanaphlaxes I totally agree… Both of these contenders are capable of an effective administration… Although the Democrats are going to make it impossible for either of these two to Govern without chaos.

Unfortunately @SmallPaul hasn’t worked this out yet… The Biden Administration has been a disaster… And a wasted 4 years that US Citizen’s will never get back…

Facts, Now Let’s see what happens, and if they can call it as they see it, as they do with Biden.

The dictator you speak of is the “Deep State” What Mr. Trump is doing is no different than what Andrew Jackson did when the election of 1824 was “stolen” from him. Those are Jackson’s words

Half of the country that supports Trump is voting against the dictator “Deep State” and their puppet president.

Another correction is the calling of the US a “democracy” We are a “Representative Republic” If you go to Wikipedia they call the US a “Federal Presidental Republic”

And finally, what do you think the US is a “beacon” of?

All I see as a 65 year US citizen , is a government that grows at the expense of the middle class, has massive debt ( 1.5 trillion a year) , and supports endless wars around the world while ignoring the needs of their own people

The US of 2024 most resembles the Empire from Star Wars

The United States is not a direct democracy where everyone votes on specific legislation. Still, any system wherein people cast their votes for members of government is ultimately “democratic” in nature.

United States is not a Republic because of the influence of money in politics, which can undermine the will of the people

Do you have friends or family that lives outside of the US? Do you know people who live in third world countries?

Ask them what they think about the US. Might be an interesting conversation.

'“Chasing Trump” (released on April 17th) exposes the left wing prosecutors behind these cases as nothing more than puppets for the Biden Administration and it’s political machine…

‘It’s the first documentary to do a deep dive into the backgrounds of the prosecutors behind the four cases against him and is a must watch for anyone who cares about preserving the rule of law and protecting the US’s constitutional rights…’

'With the 2024 election starting to heat up, it’s imperative that Americans have the opportunity to learn more about the truth behind the prosecutions targeting President Trump, along with the partisan prosecutors behind the cases…

These prosecutors have done more to assure Trump’s return to the White House than all of his rallies, speeches and political ads combined… The Democrat collective of clueless…

Trump is goading them toward applying any gag orders because he knows that if he is cuffed and perp walked he will become a political martyr and, in effect, they will have elected him the next President before November 5…

For years, The Leftist Media has put its Orange Man Bad mantra front and centre, “Democracy Dies with Trump”… But if the media continue on the current path and into another Trump term, democracy as well as journalism may suffer gravely in the glare of light, too…

Unprecedented: Jared Kushner’s “unusual” dependence on foreign money shocks other investors

Jared Kushner’s foreign business transactions ‘previously unseen in scale’

Technically, it would not be accurate to say that literally all of the investment money that’s been flowing to Jared Kushner since he left the White House has come from foreign sources, such as the governments he worked with while serving former President Donald Trump. The actual figure, as reported by The New York Times on Tuesday, is “just” 99 percent, the vast majority of the $3 billion raised thus far coming from authoritarian governments.

It’s an arrangement – Kushner cashing in on relationships forged while his father-in-law was the president – that at the very least constitutes an appearance of impropriety. It is also far from the norm, experts say.

In 2022, just six months after leaving the White House, Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund invested $2 billion in Kushner’s newly formed private equity firm, despite misgivings among the fund’s staff that Trump’s son-in-law had little relevant experience. Kushner has also accepted investments from state-managed funds in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

Kushner, who won’t rule out serving in a second Trump administration, has in turn invested some of that money in a foreign project, last month announcing a $500 million real estate project in Serbia at the same site where Trump himself had previously sought to build a luxury hotel.

J. Robinson West, a former Reagan administration official who spoke to the Times, said there were a number of “unusual” things about Kushner’s post-White House business dealing.

“A lot of people leave government and become lobbyists or they start consulting firms,” he said. But no one that he recalled had ever received so much money, so fast, from foreign governments – especially not ones they worked with while working for a president.

“I think it’s fair to say that the spirit of public service and George Marshall and Robert Lovett — those days are past,” he said.

Steve Rattner, an economic analyst who himself leads an investment firm, commented that he’s never seen a U.S. private equity firm so dependent on foreign cash. “This is extraordinary — unprecedented — I’ve never seen anything like it,” he told MSNBC.

Where Did All of Jared Kushner’s Investors Come From? Take a Guess

Affinity, which is worth $3 billion, has received investments from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as corporate moguls like Terry Gou, who founded electronics giant Foxconn.

These are all countries that Kushner worked with when his father-in-law, Donald Trump, was in the White House. Kushner served as Trump’s main envoy to the Middle East and was a key figure in brokering the Abraham Accords, which normalized relations between Israel and the UAE, and Israel and Bahrain.

Kushner’s fund has invested in an Israeli car-leasing and financing company, an online real estate site based in Dubai, and an Abu Dhabi–supported fast food company that operates more than 1,000 restaurants in Brazil, the Times reported.

Kushner announced two of his biggest deals yet last month: a $500 million hotel and condominium complex in Serbia and two luxury developments in Albania. Neither of these deals could have happened without Kushner’s time working in the Trump administration, where he met the president of Serbia and the prime minister of Albania, who were directly involved in each respective deal.

During Trump’s presidential term, Kushner likely made hundreds of millions of dollars. Those earnings also were controversial, particularly due to his business deals with countries such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar while meeting with them in his White House capacity.

Although Kushner specialized in the Middle East during Trump’s stint at the White House, he has come under fire for his stance on Palestine. Since Israel’s war in Gaza broke out, the Abraham Accords have been criticized for ignoring Palestinians.

Recently, Kushner told a Harvard University audience that he thought Gaza’s beach coastline was “very valuable,” essentially advocating for Israel ethnic cleansing the land to develop it. If he continues in this vein, he might have to deal with more direct protests, like the ones that crashed his awards ceremony at an Anti-Defamation League event last month.
