Here Obamacare is destroying small hospitals in rural areas

image

Most Obamacare insurance plans have huge deductibles ( like $8,000) most people don’t have the deductible so the hospital has to eat the first $8K before they see a dime from the insurance company. Large hospitals can absorb this cost but it is a death sentence for small hospitals

Trump claims Iran will attack Israel tonight: ‘No top-secret information’

Isn’t that unreal that we hear this from future US President Trump and not from the current Resident in the Whitehouse… Or even from the supposedly popular US’s Word Salad VP…

No need for top secret when you have common sense & discernment…

Remember when the United States had a President who was for once feared by these people…

@Dennis3450 The Lunatic Fringe just don’t care… All that matters is Trump is not allowed to become President again… US Citizens dying because of inadequate Health Care is irrelevant to the cause…

Same issues here… We have some people waiting hours for Ambulance arrivals while others are dying on gurney’s in ER Departments waiting for attention due to the Government cutting funding to the Hospital systems.

They locked the whole country down when a couple of people were dying of COVID each day… Yet when a similar number of preventable deaths are caused by Government ineptness and negligence. there is nothing to see here…

Most Australians aren’t as politically polarised and apathetic as many Americans… Governments will be thrown out of office right quick at the next election for this gross breach of trust and leadership…

And rightly so…

Missouri’s Republican Attorney General Andrew Bailey filed a July 3 lawsuit against New York state asking the Supreme Court to pause Trump’s impending sentencing and the gag order placed on him by New York state judge Juan Merchan.

Legal disputes between states are filed directly to the Supreme Court.

US Supreme Court declines to halt Trump’s sentencing in hush money case

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected a bid by the state of Missouri to halt Donald Trump’s upcoming sentencing for his conviction in New York on felony charges involving hush money paid to a porn star and left a related gag order until after the Nov. 5 presidential election.

The decision by the justices came in response to Missouri’s lawsuit claiming that the case against Trump infringed on the right of voters under the U.S. Constitution to hear from the Republican presidential nominee as he seeks to regain the White House.

The Supreme Court’s order was unsigned. Conservative Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito indicated they would have taken up Missouri’s case but added that they “would not grant other relief.”

Trump was found guilty in May of falsifying business records to cover up a $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels in exchange for her silence before the 2016 U.S. election about a sexual encounter she has said she had with Trump years earlier. Prosecutors have said the payment was designed help Trump’s chances in the 2016 election, when he defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Accountability, Americans need to hear who really was trying to steal the election :+1:

Former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis to cooperate with prosecutors in Arizona ‘fake electors’ case.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes’ office announced Monday that Jenna Ellis, a former Donald Trump attorney and one of the 18 defendants in the Arizona “fake electors” case stemming from the 2020 election, is cooperating with the prosecution.

Ellis signed the cooperation agreement Monday morning, according to the announcement, which said prosecutors are dropping the charges against her.

“This agreement represents a significant step forward in our case,” Mayes, a Democrat, said in a statement. “I am grateful to Ms. Ellis for her cooperation with our investigation and prosecution.

Ellis pleaded guilty last year in the Georgia election interference case in which Trump was also charged. She was Trump’s senior legal adviser from early 2019 until shortly after he left office in January 2021 and was part of the legal team that advised him as he sought to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.

Ellis and the rest of the Trump allies charged this year had pleaded not guilty after Mayes unveiled an indictment related to their involvement in a plan to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in the state.

If that’s your Opinion :+1:

Insulting one of the GOP’s most respectable governors, who is extremely popular in his home state, isn’t a recipe for success from Trump, especially when polling in Georgia indicates an even race between him and Kamala Harris.

What makes it even worse is that Trump has evidently not reflected on the very mistakes he made between 2020 and 2022, in which he lost Republicans the Senate through his own selfishness.

Trump is back to attacking Republicans. You know, the people he needs to win in November.

Donald Trump has revived his feud with Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp seemingly out of nowhere, for some reason.

“He’s a bad guy,” Trump said of Kemp during an Atlanta campaign rally. “He’s a disloyal guy, and he’s a very average governor.”

Trump’s feud with Kemp and other Georgia Republicans stems from the 2020 election, in which then-incumbent Trump embarrassingly lost the traditionally red state. Following his defeat, Trump attempted to pressure state officials to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the state.

Kemp fought back against that attempt. So now he’s the enemy.

Does Trump realize he needs Kemp to win Georgia in November?

Republicans lost the Senate in 2022 because of a Senate race in Georgia, in which Trump propped up the extremely problematic Herschel Walker for the GOP nomination. Walker ended up losing in a run-off election.

Republicans cringe at Trump’s undisciplined attacks on Harris: ‘A public nervous breakdown’

Republicans are reeling from Trump’s undisciplined approach to the opening stages of his race against Harris.

Donald Trump spent Monday morning labeling the turmoil in the global financial markets the “Kamala Crash,” giving Republicans hope that he might turn his focus to an economic message.

It didn’t last. By midday, the former president was already back to re-litigating his controversial appearance in Chicago last week, where he questioned Kamala Harris’ Black identity and suggested a major network journalist should be fired — “I didn’t know who she was, she was nasty,” he told a livestreamer.

And if Trump had an opening to hit Harris on the economy, it was unclear even to leaders of his own party if he could sustain it.

Republicans on Monday reeled from Trump’s undisciplined approach to the opening stages of his new general election matchup with Harris — following a weekend that saw him praise Russian leader Vladimir Putin while smearing Harris as “low IQ,” and “dumb” and attacking a popular swing-state GOP governor whose turnout operation he may need in November.

“This is what you would call a public nervous breakdown,” said Matthew Bartlett, a GOP strategist and former Trump administration appointee. “This is a guy who cut through the Republican primary like a knife through butter. This is a guy who pummeled a semi-conscious president in a debate and literally out of a race. And now this is a guy who cannot come to grips with a competitive presidential race that would require discipline and effective messaging. And we’re seeing a candidate and a campaign absolutely melt down.”

Republicans who saw their party lose the White House and both chambers of Congress during Trump’s presidency have worried before about Trump’s lack of discipline. But Trump’s venting now comes at a critical point in the election, with Harris surpassing him in fundraising and gaining ground in some battleground state polls.

What a horrible, twisted, despicable person this Trump imbecile is.

It’s just staggering that so many otherwise perfectly decent, reasonable US citizens are (according to opinion polls) willing to hold their noses and vote for him - goes to show how tribal US presidential elections can be. I suppose they may see sense, eventually? They surely deserve better.

political parties have the constitutional right to determine the procedure by which they select their nominees, as repeatedly confirmed by the Supreme Court,” Foley said, citing the Supreme Court cases Democratic Party of United States v. Wisconsin ex rel. La Follette and California Democratic Party v. Jones.

“The authority of the national parties to choose their nominee in the event the nominee can’t run comes as a surprise to many in this day of wall-to-wall primaries,” Elaine Kamarck, author of Primary Politics: Everything You Need to Know about How America Nominates Its Presidential Candidates,” wrote in September. “And yet, it is a reminder that the choice of a nominee is party business — not state law, not federal law, and not constitutional law.”

The Democratic and Republican parties have their own processes for replacing a presidential or vice presidential nominee.

Biden was not the nominee at the time

The individual cannot control himself, he makes personal attacks after personal attacks and does it to his own party as well, Trump is so focused on personal attacks that the message of bad policy got lost, Graham is 100% correct.

Lindsey Graham says if Trump wants to win, he should change his line of attack on Kamala Harris

  • Sen. Lindsey Graham says Trump should change tack with his attacks on Harris if he wants to win.

  • Graham said Trump should slam Harris for her “judgment” and track record.

  • Graham said his problem with Harris is her judgment, not her heritage.

Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina has a suggestion for his longtime ally, former President Donald Trump: Switch up your line of attack if you want to win the election.

Ever since Harris became the presumptive Democratic nominee, Trump has unleashed a barrage of gender- and race-driven comments on her.

Now, Graham has weighed in on the race-based discourse surrounding Harris and her campaign.

“So, here’s what I would say to President Trump. The problem I have with Kamala Harris is not her heritage, it’s her judgment,” Graham said in a Fox News Sunday interview.

“Every day, we’re talking about her heritage and not her terrible, dangerous liberal record throughout her entire political life,” Graham added. He did not specify what parts of her record he was referring to.

“So, I would encourage President Trump to prosecute the case against Kamala Harris’ bad judgment,” he said. “This is your election to lose. It’s important to win.”

Harris, who is Black and South Asian, has endured a slew of race- and gender-driven attacks from across the GOP since President Joe Biden endorsed her for the top ticket.

@Heteroskedasticity What a divisive, dishonest, incompetent politician this Kamala imbecile is…

It’s just staggering that so many otherwise perfectly decent, reasonable US citizens (according to opinion polls) are willing to ignore her masking the cognitive decline of the current US President… Her US Southern border and Mass illegal immigration failures and her complicity in the decline of the US Economy via catastrophic inflation…

Continue on that path if you want.

U.S. citizens definitely have a lot on their minds, they will vote accordingly, either for Trump or Harris, that’s up to them

Nice speech compared to talking about sharks, Hannibal Lector, windmills, boats with batteries, and his victimhood.

Gov. Tim Walz makes debut as Kamala Harris’ running mate.

The perfect time for Trump to remove this guy and bring in someone with greater energy and charisma, this will restore the shine the Republicans have lost. The speech by Vance was weird and horrible

Mr or Ms Heter.
I am sorry to see you suffering from TDS, you seem to have a worse case than others here.

You might try replacing all that hate you have inside and discuss actual issues, You are aware that this current President has allowed millions of illegal immigrants to cross the border, he has added trillions to the federal deficit which is the main driver of the inflation we are experiencing, then there are all of the US-funded wars breaking out all over the world.

Only one candidate in this race is discussing these issues and it is not Harris

Best wishes and I hope you get help
